This is going to be a long winded post! But I just can’t tell the story of Emma and Cody’s wedding day any other way. It deserves a lot of photos! Emma and Cody’s ceremony was held at the The Arts Center in Jamestown, ND. Emma’s mom works there, and it was a gorgeous, unique location for a ceremony!
Emma and Cody chose to see each other before the ceremony, and Patrick and I were able to capture that moment, which we call “The First Look.” This is one of my favorite parts of the day! It’s an intimate moment between the two of them, and we just stand back and capture it.
After the ceremony we headed out with the wedding party bus to visit the world’s largest buffalo! This was the first time I’d ever been there! The view was pretty amazing though!
The reception hall for the wedding dinner and dance was beautifully decorated in purples, golds, and greens. Everything went together so perfectly!
To say that Emma loves dessert would be an understatement… Their reception had not only the best cake I’ve ever eaten in my life, but also an entire dessert bar. Everything was made by Nichole’s Fine Pastry in Fargo, ND. I didn’t want any of the dessert to feel left out, so I decided to try a little bit of everything. (Sadly, I didn’t make it through even half of them though!)
Their dance was rocking with the band Power of 10 performing! The first time I had ever heard them, they’re out of Minneapolis and they’re FABULOUS! You should definitely check them out! They had the dance floor moving all night!
Man these guys were amazing!!!!
