Lindsay Kaye Photography bio picture
  • Welcome!! Thanks for stopping by my little piece of blog home. I'm Lindsay, a lover of Caribou coffee, the color grey, boots and scarves in the fall, reading, comfy sweats and a good book, and of course my wonderful family.
I photograph weddings, families and births in the Fargo / Moorhead area and beyond.
Grab a cup of coffee (did I mention I love coffee?) and take a look around!

Las Vegas / Showit United

We just got home from an AMAZING trip to Las Vegas where we attended Showit United and the WPPI Tradeshow. And wow, what a week! We made so many new friends, caught up with old ones and came back with our minds full of lots of great information. Here’s a brief overview of our trip:

Gabriel Ryan teaching about pricing:

The girls waiting for the tradeshow to open (Mandy, Shannon, me, Stacy)

Me with Stacy Larson from Florida. This lady is AMAZING and has been a mentor to me for the last year. She is so full of knowledge, and expertise (and also has some sweet dance moves).

Patrick and I 🙂

We ran into Kenna, from Creative Live. It was so awesome to meet her in person after watching her online so many times!

Tuesday Morning we started off by going to watch Jasmine Star‘s Keynote speech.

The man behind this whole amazing week, David Jay.

After Jasmine’s class, I talked with her a bit and took a photo with her. She is just so sweet, and such an inspiration to me.

With our days spent in classes, our nights were spent being tourists.

Our last night there, we caught a few shows at the Bellagio Fountains. I could have stayed and watched them all day, they were amazing!

I may or may  not be counting down the days until next years Showit United / WPPI.  🙂

Another Year Older

Today marks another year older for me. I used today to reflect back on the last year of my life, and to set goals for what I want to achieve in the next year.
I celebrated today by drinking (free) Caribou, getting surprise Roses from Patrick, and eating supper at one of my favorite restaurants with my closest friends and family. And honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate.

Here’s to another great year!!!
